IQ Test

Privacy

What the test stores, why, for how long, and how to delete everything.

Your account, without signing up

On your first test, we create an anonymous account: a random identifier, with no name or email. A cookie, qi.session_token, keeps it for one year (the period restarts on every visit). It's only used to show you your own results and to recognize a challenge you've taken. Page scripts can't read it and it's never used for advertising. With the session, we store the IP address used to connect.

Your answer sheets

For each test, we store the date, your answers question by question (including skipped ones), your response times, the score and any challenge. This data displays your result, detects automated answers and, as aggregated statistics, helps recalibrate the scoring. A shared result (a /en/r/… link) shows your score to whoever opens it, never your email.

Your email, if you give it

Email is optional. It's only used to send you a sign-in link so you can find your scores on another device: no password, no newsletter, never sold. The link that creates your account expires after 7 days; an unconfirmed request has no effect after that. Afterwards, the “My scores” page sends you a sign-in link valid for 15 minutes. To limit sending, the address of each request is kept for 15 minutes, then erased.

Your diploma

The first name you put on your diploma is only used to draw the image when you download it: it's neither stored nor sent to analytics.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and follow the test funnel (start, skipped answers, shares), without your email or your detailed answers. These statistics help us improve the site.

Retention and your rights

Your answer sheets and account are kept for as long as your account exists. You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data by writing to contact@viberankly.com (include your account's email or the link to one of your results). Deleting an account deletes its answer sheets. You can also clear the cookie in your browser: results tied to an anonymous account will then no longer be recognized as yours. The site is run from France: if you disagree with how your data is handled, you can contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or the one in your country.
